When you first join Whop, checkout links are capped at $2,500. If your offer is more than $2,500, you need to apply to access higher checkout links.
Since higher payments come with additional risk, we just need to know a bit more about your business and what you’re selling.
How to apply for higher checkout links
You can apply either directly from the Checkout link setup page, or from Settings > Payments (dashboard settings) on your dashboard.
To apply for higher checkout links, we will ask for the following information:
- How expensive is your highest-priced offer, and what do customers receive for that price?
- Do you have a history of successfully selling offers at this price point?
Applications are reviewed and actioned within 24 hours.
How to track the status of your application
Once we have made a decision, the original owner on the account will receive an email, Whop DM, and notification on your Payouts page. We will reach out if your application needs to be updated with any additional information.
Once approved, you will immediately be able to create higher checkout links.
How to access higher checkout links without business history
If your business is completely new and you don’t have processing history for our team to look at, but you still need to access higher checkout links, you can choose to hold a percentage of your funds in reserve for 60 days.
This allows you to start collecting higher-priced payments with the certainty that you will have sufficient funds available in your Whop balance to cover any disputes or refund requests that might arise.
Please contact Whop Support if you are a new business and would like to set a reserve on your funds in order to access checkout links > $2,500 USD.
