View waitlist entries and approve entries
πŸ’‘ Upon launching a waitlist, you will want to view your entries and select members to join your community/software based on your parameters.

Step 1: View entries

To kick it off, you will want to select the hyperlinked button called View Entries. Once on the entries page, you can click the Accept all entries button in the top right corner to accept everyone without reviewing entries.
If you’re interested in manually selecting people, the View User Details button located to the right of each waitlist entry will be your best friend. The main things we recommend looking for in the User Details are the Discord servers each user is in and their answers to your custom fields (If you added them).
There are four core actions you can use when going entry by entry. Outside of the view user details above, you can Approve & Charge a user, which will attempt to charge their card and automatically add them to the Discord once their card goes through. Additionally, you can Shortlist users, which is a way of β€œfavoriting” users to come back to at a later point. This will not approve or deny the user. Lastly, if you’re in a bad mood or feeling feisty, you can deny a user.

Step 2: What happens with winners

When you Approve & Charge a user, Whop will automatically attempt to charge their card (users authorize their card when joining the waitlist). If the payment successfully goes through, our system will add the user to your Discord and give them the proper roles, and/or generate a license key + download link for the user if your end product is a software.
The user will get a Discord DM and an Email Confirmation letting them know they’ve been approved off the waitlist and were given access to your product!

Exporting entries as a CSV

On the main waitlist page you will see a button called Export CSV on the row of each waitlist. This does exactly what it sounds like, exports all of your waitlist entrants as a CSV. If you have thousands of waitlist entries, this will make it easier to sift through the data and see which users you’d like to accept.
