View raffle entries and approve entries
πŸ’‘ The whole point of a raffle is to get some new members using your product in a fair manner 🎰

Step 1: View entries

To kick it off you will want to select the hyperlinked button View Entries. Once on the entries page, off the bat, if you want to accept everyone and not review entries you can click the End Raffle & Pick Winners Automatically button on top. It’s not common to end raffles early, but we’re not here to tell you how to run your business πŸ«‚
It is recommended to let raffles play their cycle and randomly pick winners at the end. To do that you can either click the end raffle button above if you want to end it early, or if you set an en expiration date or max number of entries when creating the raffle it will pick the winners automatically. It will end whenever one of the thresholds is met.
If you’re interested in manually selecting people the View user details button will be your best friend. The main things we recommend looking for on the view user details pop up are the Discord servers each user is in and their answers to your questions you added to your raffle if you added custom fields.
You have four core actions you can use when going entry by entry. Outside of the view user details above you can Approve & Charge a user which will attempt to charge their card and automatically add them to the Discord once their card goes through. Additionally, you can shortlist users, which is a way of β€œfavoriting” users to come back to at a later point. This will not approve or deny the user. Lastly, if you’re in a bad mood or feeling feisty, you can deny a user.

Step 2: What happens with winners

When a user is selected as a raffle winner, it will automatically attempt to charge their card (users auth their card when joining the raffle). If it successfully goes through it will programmatically add the users to your Discord + give them the proper roles, and generate a license key + download link for the user if your end product is a software.
The user will get a Discord DM and email confirmation letting them know they’ve won the raffle and were given access to your product!

Exporting entries as a CSV

On the main raffles page you will see a button called Export CSV on the row of each raffle. This does exactly what it sounds like, exports all of your raffle entrants as a CSV. If you have a ton of raffle entries, this will make it easier to sift through the data and see which users have entered.
