# Duplicate Whop accounts

> What to do if you have more than one Whop account

Having more than one Whop account can make it look like a purchase is missing, because the membership is on a different account than the one where you're currently signed in.

## Why you might have multiple Whop accounts

* You signed up and/or made a purchase using different emails (e.g. personal vs work)
* You used "Continue with Google" on one device and email/password on another
* You signed up or logged in with iCloud or Discord credentials, and it created you a new account
* You created a new account instead of logging into an existing one
* You made a purchase with Apple Pay, and you don't know the email used to complete that purchase

## What to do

Avoid creating new accounts for future purchases; always log in to the same account you use for your memberships.
