# Hide Approximate Location

> Turn your approximate location, visible to other users, on or off from account settings.

You can control whether your approximate location is visible to other users on Whop. Turn the setting off to hide it. While you hide your location, you also can't see the approximate location of other users.

## How to hide your approximate location on the web

1. Sign in to your account on Whop.
2. Go to [Account settings](https://whop.com/@me/settings/profile/).
3. Select the **Profile** tab.
4. Scroll to the **More details** section at the bottom of the page.
5. Turn off the **Location** switch.

## How to hide your approximate location in the Whop app

1. Open the Whop app on iOS or Android and go to your profile.
2. Tap **Edit profile**.
3. Turn off **Show approximate location**.
4. Tap the check mark at the top of the screen to save.
